I want to make pictures that are honestly part of myself, and part of the way I really see life. I also want to make images about my Christian belief. Partly, I suppose, because I want to share it but mostly because making such images is in itself an act of meditation which takes me deeper and deeper. I would do them even if I knew no one else would see them, for the doing partly fulfils their purpose.
As I saw my work together on a screen I was surprised by its consistency, since changing the medium I use at any given time involves a psychological change of gear that can seem abrupt. There seemed to be a kind of unity.
